Would you like to support present and future ministers of the UCC?
COM A, the Committee on Ministry helps:
ministers who are moving into our area gain standing
those who are living here keep up boundary training and education
those in discernment progress towards ordained ministry
This may seem like wading through red tape but it actually supports our clergy. Churches and members of the UCC are fairly autonomous but we don’t have to feel or act alone. COM A reminds us that we have a covenant to stand by each other, do ministry together, and grow together. The work of COM A doesn’t just impact Arizona, New Mexico, and El Paso; it affects the whole denomination by raising up and equipping members who can serve elsewhere as well.
If you love the UCC and want it served by a valued clergy, think about serving on COM A.
